"Introspection"

I have a friend who spent so much time analysing her life, her problems, her mind, her friends and her relationships that she was in danger of losing sight of them.
She would ask anyone in her life who she considered important; "Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher, Preacher," how to get off this merry go round.
She keeps putting her foot on the ground but her toes get scuffed, so she gets back on again
