"Poet of Harlem"

"I watched a TV programme. Danny Glover (of Lethal Weapon fame) and his wife, Asake Bomani, took a railway journey through Africa. I found the journey, the history and the culture explored mesmerising in the light of their obvious love and respect for it.
He quoted a few words from "The Negro Speaks of Rivers", a poem by Langston Hughes, which spoke to me, somehow, in a way that I can't explain. This song simply arrived, a few moments after the programme finished. It's basically a tribute to Langston Hughes"
